Appointment Day

I work at Last Moon Tattoo, a women-run private studio in the Grandview Heights neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The shop address and parking info will be shared during booking. Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment to start filling out your paperwork, and make sure that you bring a valid ID. Arrivals later than 20 minutes without notice may result in an appointment reschedule with the loss of your deposit. If you need to notify me of any delays, please send me an email in our existing email chain.

What should I bring to my appointment?

I always recommend bringing snacks, water, and some sort of sugary drink. It is best to dress in layers so you can adjust if you get hot/cold while being tattooed. A pair of headphones and a charging cable for your phone are good to have on hand.

What COVID precautions are in place?

In response to the COVID pandemic, you will be asked to take the following precautions.

  • If you or anyone you've been in close contact with have been ill in the 5 days before your appointment, please let me know and we will reschedule.

  • If you have travelled/attended any large gatherings, please consider taking a COVID test 24-48 hours before your appointment.

  • Guests are not allowed (with the exception of medical needs).

**Masks are strongly encouraged for chest, neck, or upper arm projects**

Booking Fee

If I am able to take on your project, I will have you put down a $100(+tax) fee/deposit when we schedule your appointment date. This is non-refundable, and will be deducted from the total price of your tattoo during your last session. If you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours notice or you may need to pay a new booking fee.

Pricing

For single session pieces I will typically estimate a price range. Larger, multiple session pieces will be priced by the hour, so depending on its intricacy I cannot always give a very specific price estimate.

A half-day session is usually between $300- $600,

and a full-day is usually between $600-$1200. My appointment minimum is $200.

I accept both cash and card, and there will be a small transaction fee+ tax applied to your total upon checkout.

Consultations

Consultations are available both over video and in person if needed. For the majority of projects we will be able to communicate all necessary information over e-mail.

Will I see my drawing before my appointment?

I do not typically send artwork out beforehand, but there is time built into our appointment for any adjustments if needed. Drastic changes to your project idea without discussion with me beforehand may result in the project being rescheduled or dropped.

My availability

I am typically in the shop Tuesday through Saturday. For half-day sessions, we will typically start appointments at either ~ 12:00 or ~4:00. For full day sessions, or first sessions for large and intricate projects, we will start around 12:00/1:00. If you only have weekend availability, you may end up needing to take a day off as those spots fill quickly.

I do not always know how long your appointment will take, so please avoid making any extra plans for that day/evening.
