FAQ
Can I be tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?
I reserve the right to refuse tattooing services to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. While the chance of infection is slim, it is a liability issue on my end.
Can I be tattooed while taking medication?
Some medications, such as blood thinners and accutane can negatively impact the tattoo process. Please let me know beforehand if either applies to you. I unfortunately cannot tattoo you while you are taking antibiotics. If you will be having any kind of medical testing or procedures in the weeks before or after your appointment, you may want to check with your doctor.
Will you tattoo a minor?
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid ID proving so. I do not make exceptions for minors with parental permission.
Do you do cover-ups?
Cover-up work is taken on a limited case-by-case basis. As a general guideline, my style is not suited to cover existing work that is full color, super dark, or larger than ~1.5”. To tattoo over scars they must be fully healed and no longer pink/shiny.
What kind of projects are you interested in?
I particularly enjoy making tattoos with whimsical or nature-inspired themes (especially birds and female faces/characters).
I am not looking to take on other artist’s work, large full-color, realism, or script/text work.
What if I don’t know what I want?
I am more than happy to work with you based on a loose theme. For example, if you’d like plants/animals native to a specific place, woodland creatures, poisonous plants, mythological figures/animals, or even just a general floral piece, I can pick out some options that work well together.
